For the State Park Speedway 2022 season opener on Saturday, May 21st, the Wausau, WI track is increasing it’s purses for all divisions. The Auto Select Super Late Models presented by C-Tech will feature a $1,000 to win event to kick off the year.
In addition, $50 will be added to EVERY position in SPS EVERY division!
“We wanted to do something special for the opener this year,” said State Park Speedway Owner Ron Wimmer, “We have a lot of exciting things in store for 2022 and are looking forward to great car counts across the divisions. We are thankful to the drivers who continue to support us and wanted to show them that as we kick off the 2022 season.”
Along with the Auto Select Super Late Models presented by C-Tech, the State Park Speedway weekly divisions of Advance Auto Parts Pure Stocks, Snap-On Mini-Mods and Rockstar Energy Mini-Stocks will also be racing.
The Midwest Truck Tour also joins us for their annual event and will help us bring added excitement to the year’s season opener. Currently 22-25 trucks are expected to be at State Park Speedway on Saturday.
Fan gates open at 3:30pm with qualifying at 5:30pm and racing at 6:30pm. We look forward to seeing you at State Park Speedway.
